Hey.

I have this charger just for a few days but that's enough for me to know this is the ultimate endgame charger. Its amazing. Tons of features, options, settings, currents. Reliability isn't something i can judge right now, but judging from how beefy the pcb is, i have good faith.

PROS
+ Fast charging & Discharging
+ Mobile app
+ TONS of settings and options everywhere
+ Supports basically any battery
+ Charges all slots at 3A without fans
+ Contact is incredibly solid. Ive had tons of chargers not make full contact properly and this blows them away completely

- Discharge only works at 2A for one battery, or 1A for 4 Li-ion slots. Most reviews get this completely wrong and had me expecting to be able to discharge batteries fast, sadly 1A is fairly slow.
- UI can be very hard to navigate before you get used to it
- App profiles are only in the app, while ones you set on the charger only on the charger. This sucks because the app is super easy to setup and could save you tons of time of setting up stuff on the charger itself
- Cooling is LOUD. Its not horrible, not whiny, but just loud. Would love to have a noctua mod. Thankfully it can be set up to only kick in above 50c making the operation quieter. Fans dont run at variable RPM tho, so its either full blast or nothing.

Don't read the cons and think this charger is not for me. Unless you need a dedicated fast discharger (get a discharger lol) this is the best charger you can get. Just hands down the best.

I do hope SkyRC is working on a color lcd screen, faster discharge charger as i would instantly buy that, but for now, this is the best. (Posted on 17-05-23)

Thank you. The device is fully operational.
The sliders are stiff and require lubrication. The 21700 battery is inserted end-to-end, without a gap. Movable contacts, with strong pressure, can unbend. (Posted on 11-09-22)

Bought it in 2017 and was overwhelmed by it's almost limitless capabilities!
But in the beginning I didn't use the charger that often and the 'advanced' mode is so full of settings (which is amazing) that I had trouble setting it up.
So I made for myself a CHEAT SHEET which proved so useful to me that I decided to share it on a user forum.
Now it's also available for free to download off the SkyRC website.
At the moment I use the charger to revive, sort out and balance the 18650 cells of an Ebike battery pack which is so utterly helpful!

Great charger but the old version from 2016 just falls apart. The quality of the plastic was poor. I hope that the new version is not of such poor quality and that it will last. This is a new version, the latest software with two fans for better cooling, although I personally did not have any problems with overheating the previous version. The price is the lowest on Nkon. I had Opus BT-C3100 before this. First impressions were that it is huge and difficult to use, compared to Opus. But after watching some guides, I now feel that it is mostly easy to do things. You can change anything you want and more. You just have to learn more about batteries as you make the programs, which is also a good thing.

The things I value most are that it has many safety settings and that it is accurate. Most important, temperature sensor on each battery. Plus is that it accepts 10-18 volts, so it is possible to power it from solar panel or car. And that it can charge many kinds of batteries, so you can have one charger that you trust and use.

The fans are noisy, but only turn on when discharging. It is well made, so I hope it works many years. I was hesitant about the price, but it is worth it. I have not connected it to phone or computer yet. Software sadly does not have version for Linux. Also a nuisance that it refuses to charge Li-ion batteries below 2 volts, so you have to charge them with another battery for a few seconds and then put it in the charger. And the rails may not slide well - no idea if I should lubricate and what to use.

Overall, I recommend it and if I had to choose again, I would make the same choice. (Posted on 04-10-21)

MC3000 acheté sur ce site acheté il y a 2 ans et demi et j'en suis toujours aussi satisfait.

C'est sans doute le chargeur de ce type le plus cher mais tout l'intéret de celui-ci et de permettre d'ajuster chaque paramètre comme on le souhaite, l'inconvénient étant qu'il faut savoir quoi mettre ce qui demande un certain niveau de connaissance sur les batteries utilisées.
On peut aussi l'utiliser en mode simplifié mais le passage d'un mode à l'autre n'est pas immédiat et il y a d'autres chargeurs moins chers pour ça.

Divers :
- Un gros plus pour la sécurité avec la mesure de température sur chaque batterie.
- Charge et décharge possible à pleine puissance sur les 4 emplacement en même temps (pas le cas d'autres chargeurs moins chers)
- Je n'ai pas testé le logiciel sur Android mais la version PC est minable : pas de mémorisation des configs, courbes uniquement sous forme d'image, ...

MC3000 bought on this site bought 2 and a half years ago and I am still very satisfied with it.

It is undoubtedly the most expensive charger of this type but all the interest of it and to allow to adjust each parameter as desired, the disadvantage being that it is necessary to know what to put what requires a certain level of knowledge about the batteries used.
You can also use it in simplified mode but switching from one mode to another is not immediate and there are other cheaper chargers for that.

Miscellaneous:
- A big plus for safety with the temperature measurement on each battery.
- Charge and discharge possible at full power on the 4 locations at the same time (not the case of other cheaper chargers)
- I have not tested the software on Android but the PC version is lousy: no memorization of configs, curves only in image form, ... (Posted on 15-09-20)

Its really well written with a hilariously dry irony.
Had a couple of really good laughs on the first page already.

Nope, didnt use it for charging anything yet.

A very serious tool, however, that has modes for people who want to charge their batteries, both simple yet effective, and for people who want to manage all charge / discharge parameters.

Much more functions than one needs, what it does, it does good. All glitches mentioned in older reviews are fixed in newer firmware.
SkyRC support and web looks horrible, finding new FW was a nightmare. Printed manual is fun to read, though, and in good, sometimes even poetic English. (Posted on 24-08-18)

Just received the charger today, but you get what you pay for.
Superb quality of the built itself, a hell lot of options to change to tickle lots of different battery chemistries and so on...
I am happy coming from an XTAR VC4 - which is mostly fine - but if you ever want to get into detail with your little dangerous pipe bomb batteries you can't get around a decent charger. This one seems to offer just about anything you could desire for. If you know yourself for wanting to explore all options, buying tools for life and so on, this one is for you!

This is indeed 1.4+ hardware version as it says in the description. Thus it's a newer modified version where the producer fixed some problems. This charger is great and you don't even need to read the manual to use it. It's really simple though so functional as the same time. All you better do if you want to use it and do charging, discharging your batteries correctly is searching over the internet to get the base knowledge how to deal with different types of battery chemistry.

By the way I have vanilla Android device Nexus 5x and this charger just must work with mine however I get errors all the time. I couldn't use it with my Nexus 5x. Very bad. Maybe if I upgrade my firmware on the SkyRC it'll probably work.

Anyway I just really really really, really really like this product. Thank you Nkon for having this product at a good price in stock. (Posted on 06-03-17)

This charger is just great. Does ALL battery types, easily and simply but does require some learning. Once you get the idea however it is all very simple and you can use the 'dummy' mode as you would on any dumb charger.
Alternatively, you can analyse, test, do all sorts of complicated stuff if you want to.
It is PC controllable and there are Firmware upgrades which add functionality.
It has replaced four other chargers (now sold) in my case and has far more versatility than all of them combined.
