The BMV-712 Smart is the new battery monitor with built-in Bluetooth. This makes the BMV Smart ready for the era of the Internet of Things (IoT).
Since Bluetooth is implemented in most of Victron Energy's other products, wireless communication between the products and the system installation is very simple.
The essential function of a battery monitor is to calculate the battery state of charge and the number of Ampere hours consumed.
This number of Amp Hours is calculated by the current flowing into or out of the battery.
* Low power consumption; 0.7 Ah per month (1 mA) at 12V and 0.6 Ah per month (0.8mA) at 24V
* Easy to connect: the BMV 712 Smart is supplied with shunt, 10 meters of RJ 12 UTP cable, and 2 meters of battery cable with fuse.
* Easy to install: all electrical connections are made with the circuit board with quick connectors on the power shunt.
* Input range: 9 - 90VDC
In addition to the main display options, such as voltage, current and amp hours consumed, the BMV-712 series also displays charge status,
remaining time and power consumption in Watts.
Including 500A shunt and 10m cable between shunt and display.

Do not try to charge lisoci2 cells (like saft ls14500 or tadiran sl-760) this are not rechargabel cells and will explode if you charge them
