The Victron SmartShunt 500A/50mV is a smart monitor from Victron Energy. The SmartShunt is a battery monitor with built-in Bluetooth, VE.Direct and additional input for measuring voltage (of second battery), temperature or midpoint voltage.
The Victron Smart Shunt gives you insight into your power consumption and the status of the battery. An indispensable tool for monitoring your battery bank. The Smart Shunt monitors battery voltage, current and consumed amp hours. The SmartShunt also indicates the charge status in percent, the remaining time that the battery is still usable and the power consumption in watts.
VictronConnect app
You can use the VictronConnect app to read out the SmartShunt. The SmartShunt 500A/50mV eliminates the need for a separate readout monitor. The monitor functions are directly available on your SmartPhone or Tablet via BlueTooth communication via the VictronConnect App.
VE.Direct
With a VE.Direct cable the shunt can be connected to a GX Device.
Additional entrance
The SmartShunt contains an extra input for a second battery. This input is intended to measure the voltage, temperature or midpoint voltage of that battery. The SmartShunt can also operate an alarm or relay for this purpose.
