positive pole welding Review by Oleksandr

easely welded by usual dot welder, but with composite strip, ni/al or cu/al (Posted on 15-09-24)
Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo Review by SIMONE

Good batteries, but difficult to solder the positive poles, I struggled quite a bit with the spot welder but in the end and after several attempts I managed to put them together for an e-bike battery pack. They do their job even if some have reached well below 3V fortunately I solved this with a battery charger and then equalized with an active balancer. Now only time will tell if they are great in terms of durability and reliability. (Posted on 14-05-24)
You can solder them to 0.15 nickel strip using 100J spot welder Review by Andrei

I've managed to spot weld them using 100J for the top and 50J for the bottom. 100J it's a bit high for welding but it does the job . Price VS quality Great.
- some cells were under 3V - like 2.2, 2.1 1,8 some of them -- charged them to 3.6 and they keep steady at 3.54

overall -- you get what you pay for. (Posted on 12-05-24)

11 cells voltage bellow 3V
from those 11 cells 2 cells bellow 2V
rest 3.52- 3.54V

Capacity test 3000mAh (+-50) tested from 4.15V to 3.2V Tested some cells

very good battery for the price Review by sid

spotwelded 150 pieces. using aliexpress welder -much faster than home made welder from car battery doing 20 welding spots on each side of the battery as nickel strip is not holding as good as on normal battery.

for the price they are good Review by sid

testec capacity 1 cell 2800mAH second 3300mAh

ordered 130 pieces.

spotwelded 20 yet. i have aliexpres spotwelder connected to car battery and just touching + pole on the battery with wire.
nickel strips holds but can be easily removed. but for stationary use it is ok. i am welding 8 dots to each pole of the battery to be sure it holds.

i was unable to solder a wire directly to the top of the battery.
satisfied for the price (Posted on 22-05-23)
perfect for powerbank. Review by roger
Rating
ordered a couple of powerbank cases from china for 8 21700 cells, a case is between 8 and 15 euros.
put 8 of these in them and works perfectly.

real 25k powerbank that can do 12v as well for under 25 euros that actually has cells in it that i know are new and from a reputable brand, and not some crappy chinese ones.

can't beat that i think.

when removing the tags sometimes it leaves little high points from the welding, but these are easilly removed.

very happy (Posted on 06-01-23)
It is possible! Review by Tabasco

Just like Artjom, I wanted to try if spotwelding is possible on these cells for decent battery storage. Can't wait till we begin to see the LFP batteries outside... In the meantime, I wanted to limit the money flow towards... and go with this NCM cell.

It is possible to spot-weld these batteries enough for a fixed battery storage if you have a decent spotwelder and play a little with setup. They do not hold if if pull very hard, but good enough for my use at least.

I used 0.15mm pure nickel(I think). (Posted on 07-10-22)
Best bang for your buck Review by BarNiy

They can be spot welded using 0.1mm nickel plated steel. I'm using a "Schmidt-Instrumente UIP-1000" with 1.3 ms / 500 W ~ for the positive aluminium capped side and 0.4 ms / 250 W for the negative side. (Posted on 02-07-22)

you really cannot spot weld this Review by Artjom
Rating
I could not believe the previous review. So I tried it out. I have experience in spot welding. This one did not work. Negative on the cell is holding with 100Joule, no problem. But the positive on the cell just crumbles down on the contact points. Never seen a cell like this. (Posted on 16-05-21)
BEWARE! Not for spotwelding Review by the Battery Doctor
Rating
Capacity test at 500-2000ma shows 3300-3400mah. However these cells are not for spotwelding and does most likely not have an internal fuse system. The top cap is solid and most likelly only for wirebounding machines, Regular nickel will just not stick to it. BEWARE! (Posted on 23-04-21)
