The MPPT 100/15 charge controller offers ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) for improved energy yield, especially with changing light intensity such as on cloudy days. It increases yield by up to 30% compared to PWM charge controllers and up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.
The BatteryLife algorithm provides intelligent battery management by monitoring the battery's state of charge and gradually increasing the load disconnect point until the absorption voltage is reached. This prevents the battery from constantly fluctuating between "partially charged" and "fully discharged", which extends the life of the battery.
The MPPT 100/15 can be set to traditional charge control mode with a fixed disconnect voltage. The load output is short-circuit protected and can power capacitive loads such as a converter.
The electronics are cast in resin to protect the electronic components from environmental influences. The charge controller automatically adapts to a 12V or 24V system and offers built-in Bluetooth Smart functionality for wireless configuration, monitoring and updates via an app, without the need for a separate dongle.
