Armytek Barracuda Pro v2 XHP35 High Intensity Warm
This is the new Barracuda Pro v2 with XHP35 High Intensity Warm LED
Extreme brightness - 1400 LED lumens
Unprecedented beam distance of up to 788 meters for efficient illumination of large surfaces
Ultra-strong materials and robust construction guarantee total protection against heavy shock or vibration
Lightweight flashlight with constant light and non-reliable reliability
Easy operation and continuous running times - 1 hour in maximum mode and almost 22 hours in middle mode
Constant brightness with low batteries and at -25ºC outside
Waterproof: Armytek claims ipx8, in our experience this is not true. So don't go swimming with it. It should survive when it rains.
Guaranteed Durability - Stands up to any gun's recoil and drops from 100 feet
Take these values with a pinch of salt, Armytek sometimes exaggerates a bit. Still, the output and beam distance of this flashlight are amazing.
So far the build quality looks good, but switching between the different output modes has been changed by Armytek. You have to click slowly. If you click too quickly, you won't switch modes. You can easily wait a full second between the off-click and the click to switch to another mode.
the image shows the cool white version, but this product is indeed the warm white version.
In Turbo 2 mode, the Barracuda only has consistent brightness when using the two 18650 Li-ion batteries. When using a single 18650 Li-ion battery, brightness is not controlled in Turbo 2 mode.
